NBA Star Kevin Durant Tests Positive for Covid-19

NBA Star Kevin Durant recently tested positive for Covid-19. In a statement by Brooklyn Nets, four of their players tested positive. Without disclosing the identity of their payers, the team clarified that one was symptomatic while three did not exhibit any symptoms.

Moreover, Kevin Durant admitted that he is one of the four players – according to Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic. The sports reporter took to Twitter with the statement: Kevin Durant tested positive for coronavirus, Durant tells @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Durant says he is feeling fine: “Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We’re going to get through this.”

Moreover, a press release from Brooklyn Nets also circulated online.

“The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contacts with the players, including recent opponents and is working closely with state and local authorities on reporting. All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff,” excerpts from the Brooklyn Nets press release.

“The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible,” it adds.
