A gentle skin care brand, Cetaphil has been trusted and highly recommended by dermatologists for more than 70 years. Today, the brand is widely used by millions of users worldwide. The Cetaphil journey began in 1947 by a pioneering pharmacist in Texas. The brand’s first ever product, ‘Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion’, is today’s Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. To date, the brand is available in more than 70 countries worldwide and offers a varied collection from moisturizers to baby products. Cetaphil is known for its effective solution for sensitive skin.

2. Glossier

“Inspired by real life,” is the tagline of Glossier. Glossier makes “products designed with your real beauty routine in mind.” The brand offers a variety of skin care, make up, body care, and fragrance products – all “painstakingly perfected to be worthy of your bathroom shelf.” Glossier started in 2014. The brand rocketed its career with Into the Gloss, a beauty website that provides articles for beauty enthusiasts.

It was pioneered by Emanuel Stolaroff and founded in 1930. Back then, the brand was known by the name of Natone and was later changed to Neutrogena. To date, the brand is now part of the US-based Johnson & Johnson and is available in more than 70 countries.

5. CeraVe

The CeraVe brand is developed by dermatologists and is said to include ‘essential ceramides’. The brand was spawned in 2005 and products are said to be infused with three essential ceramides – ceramides 1, 3, and 6-II – fatty acids and other lipids to help repair and strengthen the skin’s barrier. The CeraVe website shares: “With the combination of ceramides and MVE, CeraVe launched in 2006 with three core products moisturizing cream, moisturizing lotion, and hydrating cleanser.” As of date, the brand offers over 70 products. The brand has also received the Seal of Acceptance award from the National Eczema Association.
